HARRISBURG — Gov. Tom Wolf, citing pockets of coronavirus “super-spreading,” announced new restrictions that take effect Thursday to reduce indoor capacity and limit the alcohol served at bars and restaurants across the state.
Under the order, restaurants will reduce their indoor capacity to 25%, down from 50% under the state’s green phase. Outdoor seating will not be affected. All nightclubs will be closed.
Indoor events and gatherings of more than 25 people will be prohibited, as well as outdoor gatherings of more than 250, though the administration said places of worship are exempt. Gyms are allowed to remain open but are supposed to “prioritize outdoor physical fitness activities.”. Bowling centers ARE affected by this and cannot have more than 25 people inside at any time.
